What to expect
If your neck feels stiff, your shoulders ache, or your back carries that familiar, dull weight — this workshop is for you. Whether it’s hours at a desk, scrolling on a screen, lifting, driving, or simply holding yourself upright through the day, tension builds quietly. Over time it limits movement, affects posture, and leaves you feeling drained. This session offers a calm, practical way to ease that load. Fascial release works with the body’s connective tissue — the fascia — a continuous web that surrounds and links every muscle, joint, and organ. When it tightens or dries out, it can tug on other areas of the body, creating stiffness, restriction, or pain. By using small, firm balls, rollers, and slow, mindful movement, we gently soften these layers, allowing the body to rehydrate and move with more ease. We’ll focus on the neck, shoulders, and spine — the central column that supports everything else. Through guided techniques, you’ll learn how to release deep tension around the shoulder blades, upper back, and base of the skull — areas that often hold the residue of stress and overthinking. You’ll also explore how the lower back connects through fascial lines to the hips and legs, discovering that true freedom in the spine often begins further down the body. Each release is done at your own pace, with options for every body. This isn’t about flexibility or performance — it’s about creating space, breath, and awareness. As you work, you may notice your posture shifting naturally, your breath deepening, or even a sense of emotional release as long-held tension begins to melt. You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or experienced. The movements are simple, and I’ll guide you through everything step by step. Expect a mix of education, exploration, and rest — and to leave feeling taller, lighter, and perhaps a little more yourself. We’ll close with quiet stillness, giving your nervous system time to absorb the effects. Most people describe the feeling as calm clarity — as if someone gently turned the volume down inside their body.
